FYI : Leather Handbags

Everytime I go out, the one thing that always despairs me is the condition of my leather handbag. But I have nobody else to blame because it’s me who finds it increasingly hard to to buy vanity items such as this.

Perhaps it’s the subconscious message sent by my resident banker that if it’s not broken yet why waste the money to change? Or maybe it’s just because I am still not used to not having my own income even after 4 years of not working.

IBut I’m making it a point to get a replacement handbag SOON!

There is a new store that sells designer leather handbags called the Bolzano. This brand of luxury handbags and leather accessories are currently sold in Europe, Asia, Central and South America but they becoming popular just about everywhere with their quality items and excellent reputations.

I went through their collections and if you like elegant but stiff bags, they have some that you might be interested in such as these :

FYI : When Your Ear Shapes Your Destiny

Do you know that you can tell a lot about a person and his luck by the shape and size of his ears?

According to this belief, influential people will have large and well developed ears. While someone with thick ear lobes are supposed to be blessed with intelligence, long life and wealth.

Perhaps there is some truth in this as I certainly have never seen any successful person with tiny ears, have you?

So I wonder if a person’s luck can really be affected if the shape of the original ear is changed.

This kind of surgery is called otoplasty and although it does not seems to be as popular or as sought after service as the other kind of cosmetic surgery, there is one Maryland ear surgery clinic in Baltimore and I’m sure there’s clinics in every part of the States too.

FYI : Perfecting The Nose Too

Looking at a picture like this always make me feel a little self-conscious of my own nose.

Because no matter how confident you are with your looks, it would be hard to stay confident if others keep advising on how much better your nose would be with a little nose job or rhinoplasty.

You : My nose is fine.

They : Hmm, actually if you make it slightly trimmer, you would look so much better.

You : My nose is fine!

They : You know there is an excellent surgeon here who can do miracle with your nose? It just need some little work you know…bla-bla-bla!

After a few times of these kind of advice, I bet you’d give it a go even if only to get these caring people off your back!

That’s why I am thankful that over here we don’t have this is kind caring attitude. Although I guess it is a disadvantage too as we’ll never the motivation to make our noses better!

So in a way, folks in the States are lucky as there are experts all over the country from California to Florida and even North Carolina where there is a Raleigh rhinoplasty expert named Dr. Stein that you might want to check out.

FYI : Body Perfection In LA

I come across sites and articles about weight loss and cosmetic surgery on a daily basis that it made me realized what a big industry this must be in countries like the United States, where many of these establishments are based.

From Beverly Hills to Houston to Miami, specialist centres that offer services such as cosmetic surgery to botox to liposuction are everywhere! How conscious the folks there must be with their physical looks to make these extreme but quick fix-it clinics so popular.

I can imagine why celebrities or folks who live in Los Angeles would find it hard not to be tempted to nip, tuck and lose-a-few-years when there are specialist surgeon like Dr. Amron who is a Los Angeles liposuction expert, practising his skills in their neighbourhood.

But these specialist clinics can’t be servicing just the celebrities. So who are all these other customers? Why can’t they just change their eating habit or do more exercise?

I’m thankful that I don’t live in such critical environment for I’m sure it would be hard not to try and look “perfect” when everybody else are.

FYI : If You Wear Boots To Work

Since all the young men in my household go offshores once in a while for work, work shoes or boots are aplenty at home. In fact, there is a pair in my car since sometimes hubby uses my car when he drives to the heliport and I know one of my brother in law has a pair of boots permanently in his car too.

It’s such a far cry from my house in KK where nobody has boots. In fact, I have no idea where one could get work boots in KK!

Here, especially in our district, I think most household would have at least a pair of boots with the oil and gas industry being the major employer. In fact, you don’t have to work offshore to own a boots. Those who are based at workyards or warehouses are already required to use a coverall and boots. So I’m not surprised if the shoe shops around here makes most of their income from selling work boots.

But of the few times that I ventured inside our Seria shoe shops, the boots on offers were not that varied. Perhaps there is a common brand that most people here prefers.

But then again, if more variety is needed, there are always online sites such as the MetBoots which sells more than 25 brands of boots from Caterpillar to Terra Footwear. If you’re more particular about the type, then you could easily find your type from their style type that includes Electrical Hazard Boots and Shoes, Heat Resisting Boots or Waterproof Boots.

It’s not all for men too as you could also get Women Work Boots and Shoes.

This site offers free shipping for orders above $100. So if you have to wear boots for work, why be dependent on what the local shop carries?

Go online and find quality and competitively priced boots!
